Pawn Majority

A pawn majority is having more pawns than your opponent on one wing. Pushed correctly it manufactures a passed pawn there, while the opponent's majority does the same on the other side — so the race is who converts first. A healthy 3-vs-2 majority is a long-term endgame asset.
