London Larry

London Larry is a Ferzia chess bot with a displayed 1700 ELO training target. Plays the London System every single game, white or black. Playable on the Basic tier with no download required.

About London Larry

Larry discovered the London System at age 40 and never looked back. He doesn't care what you play — he's going Bf4, e3, Nf3, and c3 regardless. His opening preparation ends at move 5. After that, he just tries to outplay you with solid, structural chess.

Playing style

Solid, structural London System play. Develops quickly to a stable setup, avoids early complications, and grinds. Rarely gambits material; often happy to trade into a slightly better endgame.

How to interpret the displayed ELO

The number is a Ferzia training target, not an official FIDE rating or a claim that one game predicts a human result. Stockfish documents why engine ratings depend on match conditions and large samples; FIDE publishes separate regulations for ratings from registered over-the-board results. Historical-persona copy is a stylised product characterisation, not a biography.
