The Shuffler

The Shuffler is a Ferzia chess bot with a displayed 1400 ELO training target. Moves pieces aimlessly back and forth — no plan, just vibes. Playable on the Basic tier with no download required.

About The Shuffler

The Shuffler has been playing chess for years and still has not committed to a plan. Pieces go left, then right, then back again. The opening is a creative interpretation of development principles. The middlegame is a series of second thoughts. The Shuffler is not trying to lose — it just never quite figured out what it is trying to do.

Playing style

Aimless, repetitive piece movement with no coherent plan. Re-moves pieces frequently, develops slowly, and rarely commits to a clear idea. Teaches you to punish passivity and turn positional advantages into wins — the skills needed to beat a player who gives you time but no obvious tactical targets.

How to interpret the displayed ELO

The number is a Ferzia training target, not an official FIDE rating or a claim that one game predicts a human result. Stockfish documents why engine ratings depend on match conditions and large samples; FIDE publishes separate regulations for ratings from registered over-the-board results. Historical-persona copy is a stylised product characterisation, not a biography.
